Anka - A textile brand specializing in silkscreening and original prints inspired by traditional textile techniques; handcrafted into modern, contemporary products.
After running my own graphic design company for 20 years, I rediscovered my passion for textiles. I started experimenting with fabrics and silkscreen printing, cross-stitch embroidery, bag design and sewing .
My inspiration derives from both traditional techniques and my graphic background. It may be motivated by a fabulous fabric that catches my eye or a pattern that runs through my head, a cross-stitch item I once did or a great visual on Pinterest.
My style is minimalistic and classic with an urban edge, I particularly love monochromatic and natural color schemes. I work mainly with cotton/canvas-natural materials and faux leather. Experimenting with the printing process, brings unexpected results that create one of a kind contemporary product.
My studio is located in Tel Aviv, where I also live with my husband and two children.
